Recommendations that will help you get a response to your post:
Give your post a clear title
. People are more likely to read and respond if they know what your post is going to be about. "EEEEEKKKK" may be the way you feel, and may be a catchy title, but "EEEEKKKK - my brother was just diagnosed with cancer and I don't know how to help him" is more likely to get a response.
Check for existing Groups
. The community has Groups for people interested in a particular topic. Posting in a group that relates specifically to your post increases the chance it will read by members of that group - and they may be more likely to have supportive responses for you. So before posting in this general Community Discussion area,
check out the groups
to see if there is a group that specialized in your topic.
