In 2017 I was 57 and had retired 5 months earlier. My husband and myself had our summer plans laid out when all that changed. I was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. My cancer was grade 3. I had a lumpectomy and two nodes (non cancerous) taken out. Started letrozole after that, then luckily just missed getting chemo. Started radiation in September for 16 treatments. Everything was pretty good, then 2018 comes along and I\'m getting side effects from the letrozole. So here I am. Most days doing pretty good.
