COVID-19 Booster Shot

I am curious what everyone's oncologists are saying in terms of timeframe for receiving a 3rd covid-19 booster shot? The American CDC website (I live in USA) seems to not be too clear as to when exactly immunocompromised cancer patients should get the booster.

What is being recommended in Canada?

I felt terrible after both my 1st and 2nd Moderna injection...had severe abdominal cramping, fever, and flu like body ache. I'm not sure if it's because I had both injections right before my stage 3 ovarian cancer diagnosis. (Cancer was spread all the way to my omentumomentum), so makes me all the more worried to get another injection while I am currently on chemo.

Would love to hear others experiences.

This is what I found for booster shot eligibility in Ontario:https://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/pro/programs/publichealth/coronavirus/docs/vaccine/COVID-19_vaccination_rec_special_populations.pdf

It seems that only three provinces so far are offering the booster shots but it’s pretty recent in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.

I wish you all the best.
