@Sam1520 Hello and welcome to our caring community…..so glad you reached out to us…..there are a lot of wonderful folks here….ready to support and share and more….I am sorry to hear about your Dad's tumour…..I do understand all your emotions….my dad had 2 tumours. (Colon)…..waiting is hard……for everyone….use “this time” for cleaning…stock up the pantry…..do walks…..sit on porch/with your dad, if he can. Write down all your questions, so you/he/mom will be ready, for the appt with the Oncologist. Is appt in person? Is appt over the phone? Get clarity…..
Write the most important questions you all have, at the top of your list…in case Dr is in a “rush”…..time is of the essence….this way you are guaranteed to get answers to your pressing questions (at top of list).
The word “spread” is difficult to hear. However, the Dr may offer a different chemo, to hold the spread/at bay. There ARE options….
We are all here for you…..your dad….your mom……Keep posting, we are listening.
