It's exciting to see advancements including those that target patients with a specific genetic makeup. When my husband was first diagnosed I remember being asked what his genomic profile was and I had no idea what the answer was or how it could play into his treatments. It's worth asking your oncologist if you're unsure.
The Sloan Kettering trial appears to target MMRd (match repair-deficient) / MSI (microsatellite instability) patients.
