Yes that did work for me Lacey_Moderator‍ .  The more mundane the better.     For me the mundane meant normalcy.     Any hint of normalcy when I was going through the worst of it was welcome! !!

The simpler, the better.
Simple tasks, means hopefully to achieve completion of them......so like a mini-goal attained.

Yes,true, for myself when I learned I had cancer, I found some kind of normalcy when I was working in my flower beds....... cooking and baking was another way for me to keep my mind focused, I had to keep being productive somehow!!
