My dad is just about to complete his 6 th round of chemo, he is quite depleted from the treatments both physically (lost 20 lbs) and mentally. He doesn't know if he can do the last treatment as the fatigue is so great. His blood level is adequate for him to proceed with next treatment but I am concerned that he might not be mentally strong enough to do the last treatment. He seems very depressed and often we can't motivate him to do anything but sit on the couch, he has stopped going out, can't even get him to play cards. Is this normal at this stage of treatment. Any advice on how to help him encourage him to continue treatment.
