I am a member of Prostate Cancer Support Toronto. We have peer support group meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month on Zoom at 7PM Eastern Time.

We have “Awareness Night” presentations on the last Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 7PM where we have guest speakers talk to our members on various topics related to Prostate Cancer as well as other related issues. If you would like to connect with a Prostate Cancer Survivor for ongoing one-on-one support, you can join the TrueNth program where you can be paired with a Peer Navigator to assist you along your journey. I am a Peer Navigator in this program. Your spouse, partner, family member or friend can join this program for support from a “CareGiver” Navigator who is a spouse, partner, family member or friend of a survivor. @Ty1 i read your post to me in my profile but couldnt figure out how to respond there. Yes, totally understandable you'd want to live the rest of your time left to the fullest. Do you have any close friends or neighbours in your area you can go for a walk with or have some laughs? We do have some groups on tbe site where we talk about other things besides cancer . Check out ‘groups’ there is a pet group, which you will find me frequently….'The reading club' and 'Let's chat ' where we chat about this and that. Even a group about fitness. You might find a group on the site you can join that sparks your interest!

I hope you can find some terrific connections (even if at present, only online) with others….in ONT…..and before you know it; in person! What a thought! To SEE people! And sit together, and talk, and share a meal…without worry…..Soon, you will….
