Hello everyone,

I appreciate the stories and comments everyone is sharing. So very profound.

I am my sister's caregiver. She received a terminal prognosis in Sept, 2020. This one week before our older passed away.

I have run an entire gamment of emotions and now feel numb.

How do I stay strong so I can keep helping her?

Hello Phorsha‍ - I just wrote a post and lost it so will make this shorter.

So sorry for the loss of your sister and the immediate terminal diagnosis of your other sister. Talk to friends and family about how you are feeling. You might also find a bereavement group or counsellor helpful. Your local hospice will have very kind people to help you get this support. This is the virtual hospice with online supports.

And for yourself

Of course there are many of us here to support you. You wont have to go through it alone.

Do you have other family members to help too?

Just remember to breath and take it one day at a time.

Warmest of hugs for you and your sister.
