Extreme fatigue...

Extreme fatigue...

Posted by Jini on Dec 2, 2019 8:15 pm

I had surgical biopsy 2weeks ago, and waiting for surgery next week.
I feel extremely tired and not much of appetite after the biopsy. Local freezing can also make this fatigue? Did anyone feel that after?

Jini‍  Good question and welcome.

After my biopsy, I was also fatigued - I wasn't sure if it was emotionally driven or from the procedure.  I wasn't told anything to look out for after but certainly if it doesn't improve or you develop a fever, it would be worth checking with your doctor.

Jini‍ i too felt very tired after my biopsy. It was an emotional time. I had waited for 5 weeks from my diagnostic mammogram after finding my lump, plus we were having our kitchen renovated so the place was a mess!

Listen to your body and rest up. You will feel better in a day or two.

Jini‍ , rest up, eat well, but if your fatigue persists then please see your doctor. Never ignore symptoms. By the time we land on this site, we become experts at listening and reacting to the signals our body emits.  Please look after yourself. Your doctor can only help if they know what is happening. Tell them everything, then let them decide what is important.
