How do I "tag" someone so they will see my post?

Here is a tip for those who are replying to posts.
One of the most important tips we can give for interacting in our community is tagging! When you tag the member or members you wish to "talk to" or connect with they get a notification telling them they have been mentioned. This prompts them to check back in and reply to you!

To Tag:
Click the "@" symbol
Start typing the person's screen name ( not the name they may sign off with )
A list of matching names will appear. Select the username you want to tag when it pops up.
If there are many that match, keep typing the name until it filters down to what you are looking for.
When the name turns blue, you know you did it right!

I will "tag" myself here Lianne_adminCCS‍ to show you how it looks.

Feel free to reply to this post and tag either myself or yourself if you want to practice

Happy tagging!

The “Reader’s Digest” version of Lianne_adminCCS‍ ‘S instructions can also be found on the Discussions home page, to the left of the “Search Discussions” box.  It reads “When replying to a member click the @ symbol and type their username to tag them.”
