Seeking caregiver support group by phone or Zoom
2 Posts
I'm looking for a caregiver support group meeting that is "live" by phone or Zoom? I don't want to be typing.

I would like to learn from the experiences of other caregivers. My husband has had surgery and 10 of 12 cycles for pancreatic cancer.

I am in the Pacific time zone. Thanks.

I found an online virtual support group here: Family Caregiver Support Groups - Family Caregivers BC. Check out the link to their website to find out more.

We also have a Cancer Information Helpline you can call to talk about cancer specific questions you have. You can reach them at 1-888-939-3333.

How is your husband doing now?

I hope this info is helpful,

Hello Jayaelle‍ - Speaking to people sure is faster than reading and typing. This is a link to Pancreatic Cancer Canada and a phone call to them might lead to another support link for you. The more support you can find the better.

This is the CCS guide if you have not seen it yet.

Wishing you the best

Thanks for the links, altachica, Trillium and Lacey.

I also found a monthly Zoom Supporter Circle from Callanish Society in Vancouver: https://www.callanish.org/calendar
