Quotes for Caregivers

Have you come across a good image that is so applicable to caregivers? I found this one and thought I should share it. Do you have an image that you think might be uplifting or tell part of the caregiver's story?

Interesting thread. cancertakesflight‍

This week our assignment in "Art in the Afternoon" was Loving Kindness. An essential quality I think for caregivers. So I was envisioning painting a kindly blue-eyed grandmother type in a rocking chair. You know. The kind that held you when you bumped your knee.

But one morning I walked through into my kitchen and was overwhelmed by the scent of lilac that I had picked the day before. So fragrant. And a fragrance that transported me to my grandmother's house in Kent, England. So they were painted instead.

WestCoastSailor‍ Thank you for sharing your art. You've shown that you don't have to see kindness. Sometimes you just feel it through a whole other scent

cancertakesflight‍ This is a great idea for a thread! I love it.

WestCoastSailor‍ - What a beautiful piece of art you have created.

CentralAB‍ and Vox‍ I wonder if you have an image you'd like to share?

I did some looking around and this image really spoke to me. Caregivers are there to lift us up and hold us steady when we need them the most.

I got this picture in the mountains today too. This colt was likely born just yesterday...amazing to watch him keep up with the big ones...

We have red-winged blackbirds here, too, CentralAB‍ . That’s usually one of my first signs of spring! Love their call!

I agree. I use The Red Winged Blackbird as my first real sign of spring. I recently took the picture below and also see it as another sign of spring:
