I was just diagnosed with CLL and am trying to wrap my head around it.  I too am in the watch & wait phase so I am just planning to stay as healthy as I can.  I went to the Kelowna Cancer Centre and found it very welcoming.  I know somebody else had a totally different experience and I can't imagine why.  Sounds very strange.  I have children in their twenties and thirties and I'm trying to figure out what to tell them and when.  I don't want them to worry unnecessarily but it feels dishonest not to tell them.  Any advice?

Hi Summerlake,

This must be a difficult time for you with a new diagnosis of CLL. The following link may provide  some points on how to talk to your family and children

Do we have any  other members who can identify with Summerlake and offer some tips?
