I am a 40 yr old male, I currently live in Vernon BC
I am a non smoker for 1&1/2 yrs ;after smoking for 24 yrs,and have skin ulcers problem over the last 5 yrs.
I just got diagnosed with high grade pelvic sarcoma tumor, of the pelvic bone, today ;Monday, Nov 24, 2014.. but I found the tumour 1 month ago. docs scanned me 1 yr ago for bad feet circulation, and found it then,.................... but neglected to tell me, or act on this info :(
They just set up my surgery date for Dec 11, 2014 in Vancouver.
Dr. Clarkson in Vancouver is my oncologist currently.
They will be removing a piece of pubic boine in the process.
So now I am have some Q's ..........
Has anyone had this type of surgery ?
if so...... what type of pelvic bone rebuilder did they use for you ?
How is mobility afterwards?
I already walk with 2 arm canes , bc of poor circulation in only 1 foot ( side opposite cancer siite).
what foods did u eat during chemo?
my chemo will be in Kelowna, or Vernon ..... Does anyone know a good oncologist there?
How did chemo make u feel?
What did u eat during chemo to help you with nausia, the metalic taste in ur mouth?
and my last Q for now until I come up with more, sry I am a bit scatter brained right now, been on liquids for 1 month now bc of tumour closing off my g.i. tract , and voiding nothing solid :(
What a flood of emotions........
Take good care evryone, and remember,.......... WE CAN BEAT THIS !!
