Breast--waiting for scan might make it too late?

Hi everyone, thanks to all of you helping me out at this terrible time. I have had breast pain for weeks and fatigue. The doctor found multiple (what he thinks are) cysts in both breasts and thicker breast tissue and sent me for a bilateral ultrasound and mammogram. The issue is that the OBSC says it will take 2-3 weeks to get this initial appointment! I am worried that if my case is serious (and pain is either caused by a growing tumour or a metastasis), it will be too late. Don't know what to do. Thanks, all, for your support. All best wishes.

Hi there, I am sorry to read you are in pain.
I think the only way to get these tests faster is to get admitted to hospital.
Did your doctor mark as urgent?
I think waiting is kinda standard even with cancer.
There are lots here with breast cancer that I'm sure will share their experiences.
I had a few delays myself and I have an aggressive cancer in the rectum now.
Did you get blood work done? I was anemic for a while, it will leave you without energy.
Wishing you all the best.
