2nd time around
Hi,
I just hit my 3 year anniversary and I now have a new mass that is much larger than the first time. Has anyone else had the cancer return while they are still taking Tamoxifen or Letrozole?

Seeking Help
Hi Sarah,
I'm not sure where you live but you may be able to get your friend to go to some of the alternative treatment centres where they teach meditation, visualization etc. In BC, we have Inspire Health (www.inspirehealth.ca). You can also suggest that they phone cancer information (1-888-939-3333) to get some more information about the specific type of cancer your friend is dealing with - they have information on alternative treatments as well. We have a coffee group of cancer patients and caregivers and one of our members was given a very short time to live because the cancer had metastasized. This person found a clinical trial and now has no sign of cancer and has lived 2 years beyond the doctor's expectation. Try to instill hope for your friend.
Good luck.

Relay For Life
This year we invited our local Tia Chi society to come out and give a demo for our survivors and caregivers. They are going to invite the survivors and caregivers to join them in learning some moves.

Can you suggest ways to make Relay special for survivors
We haven't done anything with colours but that is a great idea. I think some of the dollar stores sell the different colour bracelets.
We are inviting our Tia Chi society and they are going t...
