New to the Community

I am just starting out. Just found out Jan 31 that I have an invasive ductal carcinoma. I go to consult with a surgeon Feb 14th. I know they will want to remove it which is fine. Just getting anxious about the next step after that. Waiting is hard

Waiting is the most difficult part of the whole process..
At your surgeon's consult, will you be having a biopsy? This will determine what stage you are..that is when the planning begins...
